Raven would retain the title, however, following a DDT. After the match, Raven left through the crowd, obviously concerned about the 24-7 rule.

He also congratulates Raven for his hardcore match against The Undertaker, which Raven cringes at the mention of. Vince reassures Raven by telling him that Raven's standing up against the Undertaker was more than most people would do, especially against someone who outweighs Raven like Undertaker. Raven ponders this for a second and is comforted by Vince's take on his match. Vince says he was so impressed by Raven that he has decided to give Raven a title shot against Blackman for the WWF Hardcore Championship. Raven seems pleased by this and both Raven and McMahon walk off.
