ECW Wrestling on TNN: Raven vs. Mikey Whipwreck: (12/31/99) - The opening match of the last ECW show of the 20th century opened up with Joey Styles and Joel Gertner interviewing Mikey Whipwreck, who comes out 'Bombtrack' by Rage Against The Machine now. Styles welcomes back Whipwreck after his stay in WCW, which draws a chorus of boos. Just as Whipwreck is about to talk, The Impact Players come down and offer to pay off Mikey to take somebody out for them. Styles protests and insists Mikey won't sell out again, to which Mikey responds he made more money than Styles did in WCW and his mommy is happy with him cuz he saves all his money. Storm then tells Mikey if he wants the cash he has to take out Raven, who comes out to a huge pop, does the Crucifix and slouches into the corner. Mikey then attacks Raven as the match goes to commercial.
Mikey then grabs a mic, and doing a new retard/heel gimmick, explains he's not a baby, or a loser. Raven hits him, Mikey rebounds and hits Raven w/an elbow through a table that he had set Raven up on. Mikey then hits Raven with a steel chair and again with a Russian leg sweep onto the steel guardrail. Raven is then thrown into the ring and they do a series of pinning combos. Raven then hits Mikey with the drop toe on the chair and both are down to the 10 count. Mikey tries to pin Raven, Raven kicks out at 2 and after a clothesline, he blows his nose on a rag, rubs it in Mikey's face, and hits the Evenflow for the win. Raven then calls out the Impact Players. He hits Justin with a kneelift, but Lance hits Raven with a superkick and gets mugged until Dreamer saves him. Then we see some friction b/w Francine and Tommy over Raven, as a split b/w them is teased.
WINNER: Raven
WCW Best of The Millenium: WCW U.S. Title Match: Raven vs. Goldberg: (12/28/99) - WCW aired it's annual Nitro retrospective examining the best of Nitro and in probably the last time you'll EVER see Raven on WCW Television, they replayed his solitary U.S. Title defense against Goldberg from April 20, 1998, after winning the title from DDP the night before at Spring Stampede. Raven lays down the U.S. Title before Goldberg and look him eye-to-eye only to spear Goldberg a minute later. Goldberg drives Raven to the opposing turnbuckle, only to have Raven hit Goldberg with a standing dropkick. They go to the outside and Goldberg whips Raven into the guardrail. They make it back in the ring at which point Raven is taken down into a figure-4 leglock by Goldberg which is broken up by the ref, Billy Silverman. They go back to the outside and Raven hits Goldberg with a chair twice which slows him down somewhat. They go back into the ring at this point.
After which Raven gets hit by Goldberg's spear. Raven is out. In comes the Flock. Sick Boy hits Goldberg with a dropkick which stuns him. Kidman tries to use Sick Boy as a ramp to hit Goldberg but it doesn't work. Horace comes in and clocks Goldberg with a STOP sign but gets thrashed too. In comes Reese, who tries to chokeslam Goldberg, but also fails. At this point Raven gets back up, tries to leave through the crowd, only to be thrown back by the "fans" in the front row. He then gets speared, and jackhammered on the STOP sign, losing the U.S. Title.
WINNER and NEW U.S. Champion: Goldberg
ECW Wrestling on TNN: ECW World Tag Team Title Match: Raven & Tommy Dreamer w/ Francine vs. The Baldies (DeVito, Angel, and Grimes): (12/24/99) - Before the match even started, it was evident that there are some new ECW Raven t-shirts out. These feature a silhouette of Raven doing the Crucifix with a jagged blood-red background. Keep an eye out for them at ECW shows. Raven and Dreamer enter separately and Francine is dressed as a cowgirl (it is TNN, after all, and they are in Nashville). The Baldies are distracted by some fans at ringside and start a fight with them. Dreamer gets involved as peacemaker and Raven is alone in the ring brooding.
At this point, The Impact Players rush the ring and ambush Raven. Justin canes Raven and Raven is busted wide open. The Impact players then grab Raven and crucify him to the ECW on TNN entranceway, at which point, Justin canes him again. The Impact Players then cut a promo over the bloodied and near comatose Raven and say they will beat Raven/Dreamer for the titles at GAC, Quote the Raven, NEVER AGAIN! At this point, Credible comes up to the nearly unconscious and bloody Raven and licks the side of his face from the base of the neck in a disgustingly heelish act. Francine is torn on who to save, Dreamer or Raven and the end screen shows an unconscious Raven being cradled by Dreamer.
WINNER: No Contest
ECW Wrestling on TNN: Tag Team Title Situation: (12/17/99) - After a number one conterdership match with Rhino Richards and Chris Candido with Tammy Lynn Sytch, The Impact Player team of Justin Credible and Lance Storm are declared to be the number one contenders to the ECW World Tag Team Championship held by Raven and Dreamer since August 26, 1999. Raven and Dreamer will now defend the titles against the Impact Players at the ECW Guilty as Charged Pay-Per-View on January 9, 2000.
Raven Vignette - At the end of the show, we see Raven sitting down on the floor, propped up against the wall talking to Tommy Dreamer. Raven talks to Tommy Dreamer about how he needs for Tommy to trust and understand him. Raven says he's too weak to ever fight Dreamer again, and how he wants Dreamer to understand that he wants to do the right thing and get rid of the Impact Players. Raven says he somehow always thought he'd lure Dreamer to his side, but in the end, Dreamer lured him to his. Raven wants Dreamer to understand that he wants to do the right thing and realize that he's going to have to count on him at the Guilty As Charged Pay-Per-View. We hear "I understand," but rather than seeing Dreamer, we're confronted by a smitten Francine agreeing with Raven as Dreamer seems to have never been there at all as the camera fades to black.
Raven Vignette #2 - After a match where Justin Credible beat Sandman and Sandman and Dreamer were laid out, a beat-up Dreamer comes charging into the locker room area. Dreamer finds Raven in the back at yells at him, asking why he didn't do the right thing and help him out this week. Raven says he's so hurt right now, emotionally, that he couldn't even hurt himself. Dreamer angrily states that if this is another of Raven's mindgames, he'll give Raven the beating Raven wishes he had given his father. A dejected Raven just looks at Dreamer blankly as he leaves. Francine then comes up as Dreamer leaves and tells Raven not to worry, because she understands him. Raven then puts on his shades and leaves as the show goes off the air.
ECW Wrestling on TNN: Raven/Sandman Video Package: (12/3/99) - Paul Heyman narrates a video package to open up the TNN show explaining Raven and Sandman's long storied history, how Raven even managed to get Sandman's wife, Peaches, and his son, Tyler, to turn against him and join Raven's Nest back in 1996. Heyman says tonight, "the poet of the macabre" Raven, will face the Sandman with Dreamer as the special guest referree.
Raven Promo - Raven cuts an awesome promo where he talks about his abusive father being akin to Sandman. How his father beat a defenseless 7 year old Raven into submission. Raven says he would have killed his father, if the S.O.B. hadn't drunk himself to death before he found a foolproof way of doing it without getting caught. Raven says Sandman is the same and tonight he'll take him out.
Raven vs. Sandman - Huge pops and chants for both guys. Raven threw Sandman into the guardrail. Once they both ended up, back in the ring, Sandman laid out Raven on a table. He flipped but missed and he crashes through a table. Chairs come into play, and Sandman gets tripped and falls on one. Once the Sandman gets up, he sets up a table in the corner and put Raven on it. Sandman runs and flips on him. Rhino appears and spears Tommy. Chris holds up the Sandman, and Rhino spears him as well. They leave, and out comes Sandman's ex-wife, Peaches. She helps up Raven, but then nails him in the nuts. A catfight breaks out. Then out come the Impact Players, and pull Tommy out of the ring. Raven makes the save though, by diving over the top rope, and taking out everyone. When Raven came back into the ring, Sandman tried to cane him but ducked, and on the other side of the ring, Justin caned Raven to allow the Sandman to win.
WINNER: Sandman via pinfall
