WCW Thunder: (7/29/99) - No Raven Activity.
WCW Monday Nitro: Vampiro with Insane Clown Posse vs. Rey Mysterio Jr: (7/26/99) - Lights come down. "The Abominable Dr. Phibes" by the Misfits comes on and there goes the pyro. Out comes Vampiro wearing an 'Amazing Jeckel Brothers' Insane Clown Posse t-shirt and sporting Fiend/Crow makeup. Vampiro and the Posse make their way to the ring and hug each other as Rey "Pure Player" Mysterio comes to the ring. Vampiro and the Posse mock Konnan's stooge and the match gets underway. The match itself is almost a joke as Vampiro squashes any attempt Rey Jr. makes for a move. Vampiro shoves Rey and throws him all the way across the ring. Vampiro lands a bunch of vicious lariat clotheslines on Rey Jr. then does a psycho overhead release german suplex on the boy. Rey manages to get a second wind and dropkicks Vamp's leg and then does a springboard attack on the ropes. Vamp ducks outside with ICP a few times to regroup. Vampiro tried a test of strangth and knocks Rey back down to the size again. Vampiro holds Rey up against the ropes and talks about how he was held back in WCW by Konnan to Rey. Vampiro then spikes Rey with the Nail in the Coffin and goes for a top rope move but Rey reverses it. The ICP tries to get involved but Rey knocks off Shaggy from the top rope and bumps Violent J to the outside. Rey tries to set up Vampiro for a huracanrana but Violent J holds down Rey and Vamp does a Super Michonoku Driver on Rey. ICP runs in and punks Rey with Vampiro but Eddy Guerrero runs in and saves Rey from ICP. ICP hook up with Vampiro and Violent J grabs the microphone and addreses Rey and Eddy:
VIOLENT J: "Rey Mysterio, you just found out what Konnan found out last week. And that is, Vampiro has friends in wicked places. We didn't come here to wave our hands or do rock and roll. We came here to kick somebody's ass!"
WINNER: Rey Mysterio Jr. via Disqualification.
WCW Saturday Night: (7/24/99) - No Raven Activity.
WCW Thunder: (7/22/99) - No Raven Activity.
WCW Monday Nitro: Konnan vs. Vampiro (w/Insane Clown Posse & Raven): (7/19/99) - Konnan does the "Where My Dogs At?" speech. K-Dogg shoots on the mic on Vampiro and he calls him a little punk. Vampiro comes to the ring looking more than a little pissed off. Back body suplex by Vampiro. Konnan hits Vampiro with an open handed slap. Vampiro recovers and hits him with the standing side kick. Vampiro works the crowd, and he recieves a lot of heat. Scoop and a slam by Vampiro. Top rop clothesline from the top rope by Vampiro. A savate kick into a version of the X-Factor face plant by Konnan. Konnan continues the advantage and clotheslines Vampiro over the ropes. K-Dogg uses the bulldog from the top rope. The Insane Clown Posse, Violent J. and Shaggy 2 Dope, run in and ambush Konnan. Raven, sporting a facial beard, is back and he just stands on the ring apron smiling wickedly. Shaggy 2 Dope hits a guillotine leg drop on Konnan and Konnan winces from the pain. Mysterio comes in and he fights off Violent J, hitting the Ruff Ryder on him. Vampiro grabs Rey and spkies him then Rey promptly receives a moonsault from Violent J. Raven is back, and back as a heel. So it is written, so it shall come to pass . . .
WINNER: Konnan via Disqualification.
WCW Saturday Night: (7/18/99) - No Raven Activity.
WCW Thunder: Van Hammer vs. Vampiro: (7/15/99) - This past Monday, many new fans took notice of El Vampiro Canadiense after the Canadian Superstar attacked K-Dogg with a chair. Vampiro attempted to continue his momentum from his match against Konnan, and Hammer found himself on the business end of several devastating power moves. Vampiro struggled through his adversary's brute strength -- and a missed Twisting Senton Moonsault -- before scoring a victory with a roll-up pin. Post-match, Hammer struck with the Hammer Throw. Basically this was a power versus finesse match that saw Hammer lumber around while Vampiro hit many high spots and stiff shots, including the aforementioned version of Hayabusa's Twisting Senton Moonsault. Vampiro also sported a new look that he started Monday wearing long pants with katakana Japanese charaters that spelled out the word Vampiro. Vampiro is rumored to align with Insane Clown Posse this Monday on Nitro and with Raven soon after.
WINNER: Vampiro via pinfall after inside cradle.
WCW Monday Nitro: Konnan vs. Vampiro: (7/13/99) - Just as Konnan was finishing his "bout it, bout it" speech, Vampiro attacked him from behind, kicking and chopping K-Dogg with authority. Konnan took the advantage and DDT'd Vampiro for a pinfall attempt. Vampiro, however, kicked out at two and went outside the ring. Grabbing a chair, Vampiro threw it at Konnan as the bell rang. Despite the disqualification for throwing the chair, Vampiro continued his rampage against his real-life nemesis until the referee forcefully stopped the two from brawling. Vampiro and Konnan have a long standing feud from their days in the Mexican wrestling promotion EMLL. In fact, Konnan didn't even want to wrestle Vampiro in this outing and was laid out due to his stubborness.
WINNER: Konnan via Disqualification.
Bash At The Beach: Tag Team Title Match: The Triad vs. Saturn and Chris Benoit: (7/11/99) - The Jersey Triad as they call themselves, consisting of Diamond Dallas Page, Bam Bam Bigelow and Kanyon defended their tag team straps Triad style. Despite there being two belts, all three men tagged in and out of the match freely while Benoit and Saturn were at a disadvantage with only two each other to tag in. However, the duo was a formidable team, inflicting a load of damage on the three from Jersey before all was said and done. Benoit and Saturn clearly dominated the early part of the match, working like a well-oiled machine. Kanyon was their victim for several minutes, enduring snap suplexes, double headbutts, and a half Boston crap as well as a catapult by Benoit into the fist of Saturn. Kanyon, battered and weak, crawled to Benoit's corner and uttered something to him but was met with a Benoit boot to the face. Kanyon took the brunt of Saturn and Benoit's rage as Saturn squashed Kanyon from the top rope but the count was stopped by interference by DDP. A vertical suplex by Bigelow to Saturn started the tides turning but Benoit was ready to stop the count with a save. After fighting his way out of a Bigelow sleeper hold, Saturn went up top and belly-to-belly suplexed newly tagged in Kanyon. After several minutes, Benoit made the hot tag and went wild on The Triad, knocking both DDP and Bigelow off the ring apron. However, Benoit walked right into a Kanyon swinging neckbreaker and was nearly pinned but his ever-vigilant partner, Saturn, broke the pin at two. Benoit took an amazing amount of punishment before finally tagging Saturn in but to the duo's dismay, the referee did not see the tag and forced The Crippler to continue in the ring.
The Triad took turns tagging in and beating on Benoit. A perfect looking moonsault off the top rope by Bigelow was not so perfect as Benoit rolled out of the way and the impact was absorbed by Bigelow. At last, Benoit was able to reach his partner for the tag. Saturn went to work immediately, knocking Page and Kanyon out of the ring. Both Saturn and Benoit went up top and flattened a beaten Bigelow but DDP jumped on the pile of bodies and broke the pin attempt by Saturn and Benoit. Kanyon was seen with a metal can, taking a mysterious white powder out and, at the right moment, he threw the powder in Saturn's face but also hit his fellow partner, DDP, with the powder in the eyes. Page, blinded, used his Diamond Cutter on Kanyon and Benoit seized the opportunity for a pin but Bigelow put Page's leg on the ropes and the pin was not valid. DDP, frustrated by antics in the ring, grabbed the metal can that Kanyon had earlier and slammed both Saturn and Benoit with it, then pinned Saturn for the tainted victory. The Jersey Triad retained the Tag Team Belts by any means necessary.
WINNER: The Triad via pinfall
WCW Thunder: The Jersey Triad (DDP, Kanyon and Bam Bam Bigelow) Interview: (7/8/99) - DDP showed fans past match video, trying to prove that Chris Benoit and Perry Saturn actually never beat the Garden Staters clean. DDP promised his boys would leave Bash at the Beach as champio
WINNER: Kanyon via Disqualification.
WCW Monday Nitro: Backstage Blast Interview: Saturn w/Dean Malenko: (7/5/99) - Saturn guarantees victory over the Triad, saying the numbers are equal in this matchup. Malenko then stated the same thing and said Page's Triad usually wins because of the numbers advantage but because this is a six man tag, Saturn's team will win this bout.
Hak/Chastity Interview - Hak says on June 19, 1963 he was born to be hardcore. He calls out a list of all the hardcore wrestlers that he has put out of action since WCW "was stupid enough to give him a job." He says he's taken out Raven, Bam Bam Bigelow, Hugh Morrus, Brian Knobbs, and countless others. He says that since WCW and Ric Flair outlawed hardcore matches, he's gonna have an unsanctioned outdoor hardcore match on Sunday and he calls out every hardcore wrestler in WCW including Raven whom Hak says "is at home lickin' his wounds."
Perry Saturn, Chris Benoit, and Dean Malenko vs. The Triad - Diamond Dallas Page said, "You love me, you hate me, you'll never forget me." After Diamond Dallas Page and Kanyon were knocked to the outside of the ring, Saturn nailed Bam Bam Bigelow with a frog splash. Chris Benoit then hit the Diving Headbutt on Bigelow to take the win.
WINNERS: Saturn, Benoit, & Malenko via pinfall.
WCW Thunder: Saturn vs. DDP with Kanyon: (7/01/99) - Pre-match, DDP boasted of being both a former two-time World Champion and a resident of New Jersey. Kanyon took several hard shots from his former partner, but Page used the distraction to keep control throughout the match. But Saturn's unique mixture of amateur wrestling, high impact suplexes and aerials kept DDP off-balance and helped him resist the pinfall. Saturn escaped a Diamond Cutter, but was then dropped, face-first, by Kanyon onto a belt draped over the turnbuckle. The referee -- dazed from an accidental ring collision -- made the two count. Enter Chris Benoit. The Crippler delivered his head-butt splash to Page and covered him with Saturn -- Kanyon pulled out the official before the 3-count and disqualified his partner. Post-match, Bam Bam Bigelow joined the Jersey Triad and beat on both of their Bash at the Beach opponents.
WINNER: Saturn via Disqualification
