WCW Monday Nitro: Perry Saturn and Chris Benoit vs. Steven Regal and Fit Finlay with David Taylor: (6/28/99) - Steven Regal, returning from a short foray in the World Wrestling Federation back to WCW, tagged with fomer TV Champion Finlay in this bout. Their challenge was met by Benoit and Saturn, who are obviously an official tag team at this point. The European contingent used their street smarts -- as well as illegal help on the outside from Dave Taylor -- to stretch both of their competitors, but couldn't extinguish their competitive fire. Even a shot from a flag pole (sporting the colors of Britain) couldn't gain Finlay a pin over Saturn -- who managed a kick out and a desperation tag to the Canadian Crippler, Chris Benoit. After Benoit cleaned house, the match eventually broke into a four-man melee -- with Regal suffering the effects of the DVD for the 1 2 3. Chalk up another win for Saturn and Benoit.
WINNER: Saturn/Benoit via pinfall after Death Valley Driver.
WCW Saturday Night: (6/26/99) - No Raven Activity.
WCW Thunder: Saturn and Chris Benoit vs. Fit Finlay and David Taylor: (6/24/99) - The Benoit-Saturn dream team received formidable competition from this European alliance, but still proved to be the most intense tag team in WCW history. After both Benoit and Saturn dominated their respective opponents, Finlay managed to draw the Crippler into his corner and take control. Then the stretching began. Finlay and Taylor -- two old school bruisers -- tore apart the Canadian superstar with a variety of submission holds and chokes. Benoit finally scored the tag, but the former Flock Enforcer was quickly stifled by a rolling Samoan Drop. Saturn was stunned, but still had the presence to hit the DVD.
WINNER: Saturn/Benoit via pinfall
WCW Monday Nitro: The Triad (Diamond Dallas Page & Kanyon w/Triple B) vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. & Konnan: (6/21/99) - This match was for the WCW World Tag Team Championship. The Garden State thugs confused their opponents by using all three men (DDP, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Kanyon, who had already wrestled earlier in the show against Booker T.) in the match, instead of using just the declared two opponents on the card. Even though the Jersey Triad had an advantage in numbers due to their Freebird style tag team, the Mexican contingent remained focused, despite both members receiving a wicked beating from the World Champions DDP and Kanyon. The momentum in the match changed, however, when Kanyon missed a moonsault on Konnan and Mysterio received the hot tag from the former Wolfpac member. In a matter of moments, the ring filled with Hennig's Posse (Bobby Duncam Jr., Barry Windham, and now included Kendall Windham), and the No Limit Soldiers, A few moments later, Chris Benoit and Perry Saturn joined the fray ran in and started beating on the Jersey Triad until the match was thrown out by referee Nick Patrick. A huge melee breaks out and Master P. gets on the mic, taunting the country boys as Saturn and the rest of the young guys walk off back to the locker room.
WINNER: No Contest due to outside interference.
WCW Worldwide: Perry Saturn vs. Buddy Lee Parker: (6/20/99) - Perry Saturn came out to a big cheer and held up a sign from the crowd that said "God Bless Owen Hart." From there, Scott Hudson and Mike Tenay paid their respects. Saturn was wearing his tag team title belt (show was taped weeks ago) Saturn dominated Parker and finished him off with the Death Valley Driver.
WINNER: Saturn via pinfall
WCW Thunder: (6/17/99) - No Raven Activity. Recap of Nitro activity featuring 8 man tag team match with Saturn.
WCW Monday Nitro: Mean Gene Interview w/Ric Flair, Piper & Dean Malenko: (6/14/99) - The Nature Boy offered Piper the esteemed position of vice-president, since both men seemed in agreement about the whining of the younger wrestlers. Accompanied by a fleet of bagpipe players, Piper came to the ring and made the history-making truce. Enter Dean Malenko. Malenko chastised Flair for not having class and stopping the younger guys from getting a shot. The Iceman then confronted Anderson, who solidly confirmed that his loyalties would always be with Flair. After a slight shove, Piper whacked Malenko. Flair and Anderson joined the beating, but were momentarily stopped by Buff Bagwell. The veterans eventually overcame Bagwell and started to stomp both men.
Backstage Altercation: Saturn & Chris Benoit vs. The Triad (DDP, Triple B, & Kanyon) - Backstage, Perry Saturn and Chris Benoit watched the attack on their monitors. Feeling that Malenko and Bagwell were representing their gripes, they decided to run to the ring, but were stopped by Diamond Dallas Page, Bam Bam Bigelow and Kanyon. While Malenko and Bagwell were being stomped in the ring, Saturn and Benoit were attacked with a flurry of objects near the dressing room. It is later announced that there will be an eight man tag match between Flair, Piper, DDP, and Kanyon vs. Buff, Saturn, Benoit & Malenko.
Buff Bagwell, Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit and Perry Saturn vs. Roddy Piper, Ric Flair (with Asya), Kanyon and Diamond Dallas Page with Bam Bam Bigelow - The young contingent opened strong, but soon fell prey to the savvy of the schooled veterans. But despite the flurry of cheapshot and eyepieces, these young guns couldn't be stopped (at one point, Bagwell, Malenko, Benoit and Saturn applied figure-fours to all four opponents). Bagwell then took his first step to main event status by beating Flair with the Buff Blockbuster.
WINNER: Buff Bagwell via pinfall
WCW Great American Bash: The Triad (Diamond Dallas Page & Kanyon w/Bam Bam Bigelow) vs. Perry Saturn & Chris Benoit: (6/13/99) - The match to settle once and for all who are the tag team champions in WCW as Dallas Page and Kanyon took on Saturn and Chris Benoit. Bam Bam Bigelow was at ringside with his team. Since he was nursing a sore back, Kanyon took his place here. This was a hot match that saw Page and Kanyon do a fine job of keeping first Benoit, then Saturn, in their corner. Near the end of the match, Saturn made the tag to Benoit and he cleaned house. Bigelow came up on the apron and tried to help, but instead Kanyon was whipped into him. Benoit hit three consecutive German suplexes, but Page broke up the pin attempt. Benoit got another two count with a Dragon suplex. Benoit hit a headbutt off of the top on Kanyon as Page caught Saturn in a Diamond Cutter from the top as well. As Saturn was out on the floor, Dean Malenko came down and was either helping Saturn up, or keeping him from getting in the ring. Either way, Saturn was not able to get in and help out his partner. This let Page and Bigelow hit an assisted Diamond Cutter on Benoit to win the match. Afterwards, Malenko came in the ring and he was laid out as well. This makes you wonder if Malenko was helping Benoit win or lose the titles. This match sort of sets up a storyline as to where Benoit's loyalties lie, whether with his former partner Malenko, or with his current partner, Saturn.
WINNER: NEW Tag Team Champions, The Triad
WCW Saturday Night: (6/12/99): No Raven Activity
WCW Thunder: Gene Okerlund Interview: Diamond Dallas Page and Kanyon: (6/10/99) - Page explained that Kanyon, Bigelow and himself would create different combinations to defend the belts (after looking at the tapes, Ric Flair gave Page the belts back). Perry Saturn vs. Kanyon - Before this match saw any in-ring action, Saturn took his former partner to the dressing room entrance, where Kanyon was treated to a walkway suplex and various foreign objects. Kanyon ran back to the ring, managed a few moments of offense, but then felt Saturn's rage once again. But Saturn's enthusiasm cost him some focus, and the DDP Flunkie took advantage with a springboard suplex. The Innovator of Offense earned his namesake with a brilliant and creative attack, but seemed distracted by the crowd's constant jeering. Kanyon's distractions led to a Saturn Frog-Splash -- and an incredibly strange development that led into a new match . . .
Perry Saturn and Chris Benoit vs. Diamond Dallas Page and Kanyon - When Saturn gained advantage on Kanyon, Page entered and crushed the former Flock Enforcer. Enter Benoit. Instead of throwing out the match, referee Pee Wee Anderson made an executive decision, and turned the contest in a World Tag Title match. Saturn was already seriously injured, and Kanyon-Page worked the advantage well. But not well enough. Saturn made the tag and Benoit cleared the ring. Enter Arn Anderson and Dean Malenko. It appeared that Anderson wanted to interfere in the match, but Malenko wouldn't allow it. In the end, it was Benoit who connected with the Head Splash and scored the pin on Kanyon. Benoit and Saturn were given the World Title belts.

Saturn says that Kanyon has medical clearance to wrestle tonight and he wants a tag team title rematch against Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow. Flair gets all hyper and says that tonight Bam Bam Bigelow and DDP are going to put the belts up against himself and BENOIT! Benoit is surprised by this, and Flair tries to convince Benoit to team up with him for the titles. Saturn is incensed by this and says he has all the respect in the world for Benoit, but there's no way he should get the shot instead of him and Kanyon. Flair convinces Benoit, so the match is made for later on, DDP/Bigelow vs. Flair/Benoit for the Tag Team Titles.
