Morbid Angel & Extreme Championship Wrestling: A Match Made In Television Hell

Death metal masters Morbid Angel have joined forces with Extreme Championship Wrestling, a fringe athletic union under investigation for violent practices.

The E.C.W. has created a special segment of its telecast to play Morbid Angel's various videos, including the new "Where The Slime Live" (taken from the new Domination album). The E.C.W. will also feature Morbid Angel's music throughout their matches. the house audiences response has already been described as riotous; and the public at large will have a chance to witness this merging August 26th, when the segments will begin to air (check local listings).

Through the marriage of rock 'n roll and wrestling is not new, there have never been more brutal practitioners of their respective forms than Morbid Angel and Extreme Championship Wrestling. It was the mutual admiration between Morbid lead singer David Vincent and E.C.W. star "The Raven" that gave rise to the cross-promotional commitments.

Significantly, in the absence of MTV's Headbanger's Ball, and E.C.W. is now the most important national outlet for exposing heavy and extreme music.
